GAS FIRED IGNITER is a device designed to ignite and support the flame of the main burner. A high volume is generated from an input volume (mains volume), which generates an ignition spark at the gas noise. The result flame generates a flame signal via the flame rod. This flame signal is amplified in the ionision flame monitor and enables the main burner.
